ANXIETY QUESTION OF THE DAY

Where does anxiety and panic take place in the brain? What causes this shift? Is it a nutritional deficiency or is it just an overreaction of uncontrollable thoughts?

  1. I think it is a little of both. When we don’t eat well and have nutritional deficiency, we can’t possibly think well or focus. It’s a known fact that being vitamin D deficient is linked to depression. Being depressed or stuck in a funk that your brain can’t get out of. One usually has to take meds, or get moving, get some sunlight and purposely think differently!

    1. Well said! I also think that there are a number of other variables involved with anxiety. It’s not just one element. It’s extremely complex and difficult to understand. Thanks for chiming in flute4god. Your input is always appreciated.
